Package pick-up

Important: Packages delivered to the Mailroom will be distributed only to registered students, staff, or faculty. Packages addressed under any other names will be returned. Please make certain that your name is on the address label of any packages that are sent to you. We cannot deliver a package to you unless you name is on the label.

Students: When you receive an email from mailroom@ucollege.edu with a package number, go to the mail counter in the Campus Store, located on the lower level of the Don Love building. You will need you ID as well as a copy of your email to show to the Mailroom attendant. You will then be asked to sign our package log book before taking possession of your package. These identification steps (ID, Email, and Signature) are to ensure that you receive your mail and that it is not intercepted by someone else.

3rd party pick-up: If you ask a friend to pick up a package for you, forward a copy of the original email to that friend. Your friend will show this email and their ID at the Mailroom counter. They will be asked to print their name clearly for our records before picking up the package.

Departments and student workers: Packages for departments will receive a purple package slip in the department mailbox. These packages may be for staff or faculty in that department, or may be for the department in general. In order to pick up a package for a department, you will need to present the purple package slip to the Mailroom attendant and then print your name in our package log book to take possession of the package. Printing your name is required so that the department can later verify who accepted the package.
