Distance Learning Complaint Process for Out-of-State Students

Pursuant to the United States Department of Education's Program Integrity Rule, Union College provides prospective and current students with the contact information of the state agencies that handle complaints against postsecondary education institutions offering distance learning or correspondence education within that state.

Students residing outside of Nebraska while enrolled in an online course are encouraged to utilize the institution's internal complaint or review policies and procedures found in the academic bulletin before filing a complaint with the state agency or agencies. Union College wishes to resolve student grievances, complaints and concerns in a fair and amicable manner.

However, if the complaint is not resolved internally through these processes, students may use the following list to identify the office in the state in which that student resides where the complaint may be filed.

Union College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
